It is more likely that a lifestyle of 5 to 6 tonnes of carbon per year is suitable for most people and therefore we must compensate our 2 to 3 tonnes of annual surplus with real sustainable carbon credits, namely the planting of bamboo (60 tonnes per ha pa.) or paulownia (100 tonnes per ha pa.) for either 166sqm/tonne (1800 sqft/tonne) or 100sqm/tonne (1100 sqft/tonne) and thus offsetting cost is between €1000 to €1500 pa. for 3  CO2 tonnes excess or biochar in quantities of 1 tonne which sequestrate 3 tonnes of CO2 and cost between €210 to €550/ton to produce, deliver, and spread on fields per (spread on the ground). Another solution is CIRCULAR ECONOMY, sending reusable furniture and stuff to emerging countries such as 1/3 of a container (3 tonnes pa.) and save 4-5 carbon tonnes this way, and save ressources overshoot €900 to €1100 pa.
